Abstract: ABSTRACT The· invention relates to a naturally derived composition obtained from fenugreek (Trigon ella foenum-graecum) seeds and its appliclltinn in wotmd repair. The extraot io prepared using an aqueous extraction process involving soaking, controlled heating, and sterile -filtration to yield a gel-like fraction rich in bioactive constituents. The biological performance of the extract was evaluated using adult dermal fibroblast cells. Cell viability assessment using MTT assay indicated that the extract maintains high levels of cell survival across a concentration range of 100 Jlg/mL to 1000 Jlg/mL, demonstrating minimal cytotoxic effects. In vitro scratch assay results further showed enhanced cellular migration and wound closure, with treated groups exhibiting significantly improved closure compared to untreated controls. The findings suggest that the composition supports fibroblast function and contributes to tissue repair processes. The invention can be utilized in formulations intended for topical wound management and skin regeneration.
