The formulation comprises plant-derived antimicrobial extracts such as neem, turmeric, clove, aloe vera, or tea tree oil combined with a natural indicator compound. The indicator produces a visible color change in response to microbial contamination or metabolic by-products on surfaces. When applied, the herbal components provide antibacterial action while the indicator enables visual detection of remaining microbial presence. This dual-function system allows both disinfection and contamination verification. The invention provides an eco-friendly, biodegradable, and non-toxic alternative to chemical disinfectants and is suitable for use in healthcare, food safety, domestic, and public hygiene applications.
