Abstract: Described herein is a handle assembly (100) for a door in vehicle interior. The handle assembly (100) comprises a handle (102) pivotally connected at a first end (102- 1) to a predefined position on an inner panel of a door (200) associated with a vehicle, with a second end (102-2) of the handle (102) configured to move about the pivot axis at the first end (102-1). The handle (102) is configured to be moved between a stowed position, in which the handle (102) is flush with the inner panel, and a deployed position, in which the second end of the handle (102) extends away from the inner panel and the handle (102) remains accessible to be gripped by a user. The handle (102), in the deployed position, is configured to assist the user with entering and exiting the vehicle and/or opening and closing the door.
