Abstract: A HAND-OPERATED TOOL The present invention provides a hand-operated tool (500) for performing high-position operations. Prior art tools have complex and heavy functional elements to avoid extending of extending members of the tool. The tool (500) of the present invention has a movable member (100), a base member (200), a first stopping member (300) associated with the movable member, and a first restricting member (400) associated with the base member. While the movable member (100) moves inside the base member (200), when the stopping member (300) touches the restricting member (400), the restricting member (400) restricts the movement of the movable member (100) there beyond (Sp). The tool (500) has a radially extending stopping mechanism (450) with minimal weight for reducing the weight of the tool (500). The tool (500) is simple in construction and has lightweight functional elements such as radially extending a stopping mechanism (450). Figure 1d
