Abstract: [0042] The invention provides a hand-driven tissue punch and remover (100) comprising a central shaft (1A) with a vertical axis including a punch extraction unit (10) and a handle (20) that is either textured or contoured in the external layer (21). The punch-extraction unit (10) includes a plurality of cutting edges disposed on its open end including a smooth peripheral blade (11) disposed at the circumference of the open end and a core blade (12) running through the centre of the punch-extraction unit (11) such that an extraction space (13) is created on either side of the core blade (12), and between the peripheral blade (11) and the core blade (12). The device includes a modular central shaft with detachable units linked through a locking mechanism. The device (100) is engaged with a single circular motion in clockwise direction with little pressure and disengaged to remove the seized tissue.
