Abstract: ABSTRACT “A GOLD ALLOY” The present disclosure discloses a gold alloy. The gold alloy includes a composition of gold at 58.5 wt.%, copper from 25 to 35 wt.%, silver from 4 to 8 wt.%, zinc from 2 to 8 wt.%, germanium from 0.1 to 0.6 wt.%, palladium from 0.1 to 0.5 wt.%, silicon from 0.01 to 0.05 wt.%, indium from 0 to 0.6 wt.%, and cobalt from 0 to 0.5 wt.%, having a tarnish resistance properties with enhanced yellow coloured appearance. In another embodiment, the gold alloy includes a composition of gold at 58.5 wt.%, copper from 35 to 40 wt.%, silver from 1 to 5 wt.%, indium from 0.1 to 0.8 wt.%, germanium from 0.1 to 0.6 wt.%, palladium from 0.1 to 0.5 wt.%, silicon up to 0.05 wt.%, and cobalt up to 0.3 wt.%, having a rose coloured appearance.
