Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is a gesture-controlled smart lighting system (100), the system (100) comprises a gesture detection module (102) configured to detect hand gestures of a user within a predefined interaction region and generate corresponding gesture data. The system also includes a processing module (104) configured to process the gesture data by performing gesture interpretation, signal conditioning, and pattern recognition to identify predefined hand gestures corresponding to user inputs. The system also includes a command generation module (106) configured to convert the identified hand gestures into corresponding lighting control commands. The system also includes a communication module (108) configured to transmit the lighting control commands to smart lighting devices using a wireless communication protocol. The system also includes a lighting control module (110) configured to receive the transmitted lighting control commands and control operation of the lighting devices in real time in accordance with the received commands.
