The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: Provided is a fuzing system (100) for underwater munition. The system comprises a controlling unit (102) configured with one or more water-depth sensing units (110) for initiation of arming process and generation of control instructions. The system further comprises a processing and firing unit (104) configured to receive control instructions from the controlling unit (102) and initiate detonators as per pre-defined sequence of actions; and a safety plug (106) for keeping the system in power cut-off mode until the munition is ejected from a launching unit of the fuzing system. In one embodiment, upon having the safety plug (106) detached, the controlling unit (102) sequentially generates control instructions by comparing water depth computed by the water-depth sensing units (110) with the pre-defined sequence of actions and transmits the generated control instructions to the processing and firing unit (104) for initiating the detonators.
