Abstract: ABSTRACT A fuel filter 100 for a fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine is described. The fuel filter 100 comprises a water chamber 110, the water chamber 110 adapted to receive water from fuel that flows into the fuel filter 100. A drain slot 120 is in flow communication with the water chamber 110, the drain slot 120 adapted to drain water that is accumulated in the water chamber 110. A float 130 is positioned in the water chamber 110 and adapted to rise when water that is accumulated in the water chamber 110 rises above a user defined threshold level. A drain plug 140 is secured to the float 130, the drain plug 140 adapted to rise when water that is accumulated in the water chamber 110 rises above the user defined threshold level. (Figure 1).
