Abstract: This invention relates to the Human-Centered Framework for Al-Augmented Teacher Mentoring (HCFATM), which applies artificial intelligence to trained mentoring while accounting for human connection, decision-making, ethics, and contextual knowledge. The framework reinterprets mentoring as a three-party interaction involving humans and Al to address an operational gap in the existing literature regarding the precise nature of the structural boundary at which artificial intelligence assumes a subordinate, reflectively analytic role. These five aspects include: (i) Relational Intelligence which sets out relational-algorithmic boundaries of what mentee information can be processed using Al algorithms, and what is supposed to be kept secret between the human mentoring relationship, ensuring psychological safety; (ii) Adaptive Feedback that provides an opportunity for customized feedback based on Al-generated evidence in human mentoring conversations; (iii) Ethical Scaffolding that develops critical Al literacy, transparency, accountability, data governance, and professional autonomy; (iv) Co-Constructive Knowledge Development where growth metrics and developmental goals are not under the algorithmic control but are set as a result of mutual agreement of mentor and mentee, so the human judgment will not be displaced by algorithmic standardization; and (v) Cultural Responsiveness, becomes the tool for calibrating the system. The mentors check AT suggestions to successfully guide students through the local culture and demographics. Based on the theories of Transformative Learning, Relational Pedagogy and Ethics of Care, Sociocultural Theory and Zone of Proximal Development, Ecological Systems Theory, HCFATM provides a micro-level workflow, whereas other existing frameworks offer a macro-level perspective.
