In the context of a method, the method includes obtaining first information indicating at least one association between at least one uplink transmission parameter and at least one uplink reference signal pattern; determining, for an uplink transmission parameter of the at least one uplink transmission parameter, an uplink reference signal pattern of the at least one uplink reference signal pattern; and configuring an uplink transmission associated with the uplink transmission parameter based at least in part on the uplink reference signal pattern.
