Abstract: The present invention relates to a frame assembly (100) for a saddle type vehicle (10). The frame assembly (100) comprises a head pipe (12) and a pair of side frame members (110L, 110R). Each of the pair of side frame members (110L, 110R) is extending between a front end (110L1, 110R1) and a rear end (110L2, 110R2). Each of the pair of side frame members (110L, 110R) extends rearwardly and downwardly from the head pipe (12). The rear end (110L2, 110R2) of each of the pair of side frame members (110L, 110R) being attached to a bottom frame (102). A down pipe (14) extends downwardly from the head pipe (12). The down pipe (14) supports the bottom frame (102), thereby adding strength to the overall frame assembly (100), which allows for heavier vehicular components to be mounted to the frame assembly (100).
