Abstract: ABSTRACT A Frame Assembly for a Saddle Type Vehicle A frame assembly (100) for a saddle type vehicle (10) includes a pair of frame members (102, 104) and one or more cross members (108, 110). Each of the pair of frame members (102, 104) have a first portion (102a, 104a) and a second portion (102b, 104b). The first portion (102a, 104a) has a distal end (102a1, 104a1) adapted to be attached to a bottom frame member (18) of a main frame assembly (M). The first portion (102a, 104a) extends rearwardly and downwardly from the distal end (102a1, 104a1) towards a proximal end (102c, 104c). The second portion (102b, 104b) extends rearwardly from the proximal end (102c, 104c) towards a distal end (102b1, 104b1). The one or more cross members (108, 110) extend between the pair of frame members (102, 104) thereby forming a carriage for a power unit (30) of the saddle type vehicle (10). Reference
