Abstract: ABSTRACT “A FOXNU-TENRICHED SUNSCREEN COMPOSITION AND A METHOD FOR PREPARATION THEREOF” The present invention relates to a foxnut (Euryale ferox)-enriched sunscreen composition and a method for preparation thereof. The composition is formulated as an oil-in-water emulsion comprising mineral ultraviolet filters, foxnut extract, emollients, humectants, and stabilizing agents. The foxnut extract provides antioxidant, soothing, and moisturizing benefits, while the mineral filters offer broad-spectrum protection against ultraviolet radiation. The composition is formulated to have good spreading, minimize whitening effects, and improve cosmetic appeal in comparison with other conventional mineral sunscreen formulations. The process of formulation involves foxnut extract, making oil phase, making water phase, emulsification, and incorporation of functional ingredients. This invention gives a multipurpose sunscreen which can be applied topically and has been developed with safety and efficiency concerns in mind.
