Abstract: A formulation of coconut protein hydrolysate [0065] The present invention discloses a formulation of coconut protein hydrolysate. The formulation comprises coconut protein hydrolysate at a concentration of 9%w/w to 10%w/w, wherein the coconut protein hydrolysate is enriched with one or more amino acids, sodium lauryl sarcosinate at a concentration of 5%w/w to 6%w/w, propylene glycol at a concentration of 48%w/w to 60%w/w and tween 80 at a concentration of 5%w/w to 6%w/w and a demineralized water at a concentration of 20%w/w to 30%w/w. The molecular weight of the formulation is 20kDa. The formulation showed the presence of all the essential amino acids with high protein percentage, and is applicable all hair types, facilitating increase in the hair shine or hair gloss by 100%, reduction in hair frizz by 16% and improvement in the hair softness by 300% in all hair types in one use.
