Abstract: A FOAM BLOCKING SYSTEM IN A LAUDRY DRYING SYSTEM OF A LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE The disclosure herein generally relates to a laundry treating appliance and more particularly to a foam blocking system in a laundry drying system of the laundry treating appliance for preventing foam, moisture, liquid droplets, and detergent-laden contaminants generated during washing operations from entering laundry drying components while permitting airflow during drying operations. The foam blocking system (200, 300) blocks foam and soapy water entry into laundry drying components (air heating module, thermostat and air blower) to protect the laundry drying components thereby preventing heater short circuit, corrosion, increasing the service life and reliability of laundry drying components. The foam blocking system (200, 300) prevents degradation of heater components.
