MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441097105 A) filed by Mr. D. Chandrasekhar on December 09, 2024, for A Floating Boat Barrier.
Inventor includes Mr. D. Chandrasekhar.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT A FLOATING BOAT BARRIER The present invention provides a robust and adaptable floating perimeter security system for aquatic environments. The barrier comprises a vertically oriented mesh extending above and below the waterline, supported by buoyancy floats and ballast weights to ensure stability under dynamic conditions. A primary buoyancy float maintains the mesh’s vertical position, while a secondary buoyancy float, positioned laterally, is paired with a ballast to resist tilting forces. Tensile chains and vertical frames reinforce structural integrity, preventing sagging or deformation. Modular in design, the system is scalable, corrosion-resistant, and low-maintenance, making it suitable for securing aquatic perimeters in industrial, marine, and environmental applications.
