Abstract: A FLEXIBLE ELEMENT IN AN ELECTRIC POWER CONVERTER The present subject matter relates to an electric power converter (100), and specifically to a flexible element (110) in an electric power converter (100). The electric power converter (100) includes a housing (102), a substrate (104) mounted inside the housing (102), a module 106 mounted on the substrate (104), a clamp, and a flexible element (110; 301) positioned at least partially between the clamp (108) and the substrate (104). The flexible element (110; 301) includes a cylindrical body (202; 302) having a longitudinal axis (200; 300). The cylindrical body (202; 302) includes a flange (206; 306) dividing the cylindrical body (302) into two sides (204a; 204b; 304a; 304b). One of said two sides (204a; 204b; 304a; 304b) is structured to form two legs (208a; 208b; 308a; 308b), wherein each leg is separated by a space (210; 310) adapted to permit flexing movement of each leg towards one another.
