Abstract: A FLAME OVERSPILL THERMAL INDICATOR SYSTEM FOR REAL-TIME QUANTIFICATION OF WASTED COOKING ENERGY IN OPEN-FLAME GAS STOVES The present invention relates to a Flame Overspill Thermal Indicator System for real-time quantification of wasted cooking energy in open-flame gas stoves. The system comprises a sensor ring assembly, a plurality of IR sensors, a control housing, a display module, a USB port, a central flame probe, radial support arms, and a Type-C port. The sensor ring assembly is configured to surround a burner region and continuously monitor thermal radiation generated by the flame. The IR sensors and central flame probe acquire thermal information and transmit the data to a processing unit housed within the control housing. The processing unit analyzes temperature distribution patterns to detect flame overspill conditions and estimate energy losses resulting from inefficient combustion. The calculated information is displayed through the display module for user awareness. The invention enables real-time monitoring of burner efficiency, reduction of fuel wastage, improved cooking performance, and enhanced energy conservation in domestic and commercial cooking applications.
