MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541002432 A) filed by Kerala University Of Fisheries And Ocean Studies on January 10, 2025, for A Fish-Based Food Supplement For Enteral Or Oral Administration And Process For Preparation Thereof.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a fish-based food supplement for enteral or oral administration comprising fish protein hydrolysate as an active ingredient, additives selected from the group consisting of emulsifier, preservative, stabilizer, fat replacer, flavouring agent, maltodextrin, milk powder, powdered sugar, salt, and combinations thereof, and a medium chain triglyceride (MCT). The invention also discloses a process for preparing a fish-based food supplement.
