The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a vehicle speed monitoring system (100) configured to determine and validate vehicle speed using dual sensing mechanisms. The system comprises a Hall-effect sensor (102) operatively associated with a magnet (103) to generate pulse signals corresponding to wheel rotation, a GPS module (104) configured to provide location-based speed data, and a microcontroller (101) configured to process the received signals. The microcontroller (101) determines a first speed value based on pulse frequency and receives a second speed value from the GPS module (104), wherein the microcontroller (101) compares the first and second speed values using a predefined validation condition to obtain a validated speed. Upon determining that the validated speed exceeds a predefined threshold, the microcontroller (101) generates a control signal to an audio module (105) to output a corresponding voice alert through a speaker (107). The system optionally includes a wireless communication module (111) for transmitting speed data to an external device. The invention provides improved accuracy, reliability, and driver awareness.
