Inventors include Indraj Kumar; Lakhwinder Singh; Amandeep Singh; Supriya Sethi; Amit Kumar Mahindra; and Kinshuk Dhingra.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed assembly (100) comprises a hinged door frame (102), an outer mesh layer (104) facing an exterior environment, an inner mesh layer (106) facing an interior space, and a flexible protective sheet (108) disposed between the outer mesh layer (104) and the inner mesh layer (106). The assembly (100) further comprises a side rolling cavity (110) configured to receive the flexible protective sheet (108) in a rolled storage condition, a winding shaft (112), and a drive motor (114) for deploying and retracting the flexible protective sheet (108) through a guide track assembly (116). The assembly (100) further comprises an environmental sensing unit (118) configured to sense environmental parameters outside the assembly (100), and a control unit (120) configured to compare the sensed environmental parameters with predefined environmental thresholds, and actuate the drive motor (114) to selectively move the flexible protective sheet (108) between a ventilation mode and a protection mode.
