Abstract: ABSTRACT “A DUAL DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE FOR NON-INVASIVE SCREENING OF DIABETES AND PERIODONTITIS” The present invention relates to a dual diagnostic device for non-invasive screening of diabetes and periodontitis using dermatoglyphic analysis. The device comprises a dermatoglyphic acquisition module including a fingerprint scanner and a palm print sensor, a touchscreen interface, a processing unit, a rechargeable power source, an output module, and one or more communication interfaces integrated within a portable housing. Dermatoglyphic information obtained from fingerprint and palm print patterns is analysed using disease-associated dermatoglyphic correlations to generate screening information corresponding to diabetes and periodontitis. The device provides a portable screening platform suitable for use in clinics, healthcare camps, rural healthcare centres, and remote screening environments. The invention facilitates preliminary disease assessment through dermatoglyphic-based analysis without requiring conventional invasive diagnostic procedures.
