Abstract: ABSTRACT “A DRY HAND-WASHING MACHINE USING FOG DISINFECTION AND A PROCESS FOR OPERATING THEREOF” The present invention relates to a dry hand-washing machine using fog disinfection and a process for operating thereof. The machine comprises a hand receiving chamber, an ultrasonic fog generator configured to generate disinfectant mist, one or more sensors configured to detect user hands, a microcontroller configured to control sanitization operation, airflow generating fans configured to distribute fog uniformly, and an IoT monitoring module configured to record operational parameters. The machine provides rapid contactless hand sanitization within approximately 5 seconds while consuming more than 90% less water compared to conventional hand-washing systems. The invention further relates to a process comprising automatic detection of hands, ultrasonic fog generation, controlled fog distribution, automated cycle termination, and IoT-based monitoring. The invention provides a sustainable, scalable, and water-efficient hygiene solution suitable for hospitals, transportation hubs, educational institutions, commercial facilities, and public infrastructure systems.
