Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a driver monitoring system (100) designed to enhance road safety by monitoring driver behavior in real-time. The system comprises an in-car camera with visual sensor (2) for capturing images and video of the driver’s face, eyes, and head position, and a physical sensor (4) that measures heart rate to assess emotional stress, fatigue, and drowsiness. The data processing unit (6) includes a preprocessing module and behavior detection engine for analyzing real-time data. The driver behavior analysis module (8) detects drowsiness, distraction, emotional stress, and driver state evaluation. A real-time alert system (10) delivers non-intrusive, customizable alerts, while an adaptive learning engine (12) personalizes feedback. The user interface and control panel (14) maintains driver- system interaction. The cloud integration and data analytics module (16) facilitates enhanced processing, storage, and model updates, supporting fleet management. The vehicle integration module (18) ensures compatibility across various vehicle platforms and autonomous systems. The figure associated with the abstract is Fig. 1.
