Inventors include St. Josephs College Of Engineering; Mahalaxmi P; Joselin Nino W; and Mr. Harish. S. S.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The project proposes a Distributed Industrial IoT Framework for Real-Time Motor Monitoring and Hazard Detection using ESP32, ZigBee communication, and cloud- based monitoring. Distributed sensor nodes equipped with DHT11, MQ2, and MQ135 sensors continuously monitor temperature, humidity, smoke, harmful gases, and air quality. The collected data is processed by ESP32 and transmitted to ThingSpeak for real-time visualization and analysis. In abnormal conditions such as overcurrent, voltage fluctuations, smoke, or gas leakage, the system provides immediate buzzer alerts and LCD warnings, enhancing industrial safety, reliability, and monitoring efficiency.
