MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611109877 A) filed by Mr. Shailesh Sayarmal Chaudhary on September 13, 2026, for A Distributed Cloud-Based System For Detecting Coordinated Financial Fraud Using Temporal Transaction Correlation.

Inventor includes Mr. Shailesh Sayarmal Chaudhary.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: A distributed cloud-based system and computer-implemented technique are disclosed for detecting coordinated financial fraud from temporally related transaction activity across multiple accounts and processing regions. Distributed ingestion nodes receive transaction events, an event normalization layer generates normalized event-time descriptors, and a temporal event store maintains bounded active state. A temporal correlation engine associates cross-account events within adaptive time windows and determines temporal correlation values. A transaction graph constructor incrementally forms a time-aware directed graph and identifies temporally ordered transaction motifs. A distributed risk propagation engine propagates bounded risk contributions only through temporally eligible graph edges, with attenuation based on elapsed time, path depth and edge confidence, and may exchange compact risk capsules between cloud partitions. A coordinated fraud decision engine combines temporal correlation, graph motif, behavioural deviation and propagated risk evidence to produce an episode-level coordinated-fraud confidence together with an explainable response output. The architecture supports out-of-order event handling, bounded graph state, controlled cross-partition correlation and low-latency identification of coordinated fraud sequences.
