Abstract: ABSTRACT A distributed autonomous network compliance and configuration enforcement system (100) for institutional computer labs is disclosed. The system comprises an administrative control engine (102), a command translation engine (104), a communication manager (106), and a plurality of endpoint enforcement agents (108) deployed on computing devices. The command translation engine (104) converts high-level administrative policy directives into executable device-specific control rules, while the endpoint enforcement agents (108) locally enforce the rules across operating system, network, and application layers. Each endpoint enforcement agent (108) comprises a cryptographic validation module (110) for command authentication, a trust evaluation module (112) for determining device trust status, a local enforcement module (114) for applying policies, and a heartbeat reconciliation module (118) for monitoring compliance states. The system enables decentralized, offline-capable, and selective policy enforcement without modification of centralized network infrastructure, thereby providing secure, scalable, and autonomous management of institutional computing environments.
