Abstract: The present disclosure describes a device and a method (400) for displaying navigation information. The display device comprises a plurality of direction indicators (202, 320) and a plurality of distance indicators (204, 322). At least one processor (308) of the display device is configured to detect an upcoming direction change event and then determine a distance to the upcoming direction change event. The display device is configured to display the upcoming direction change event to a user of the vehicle, when the distance to the upcoming direction change event matches a predefined threshold value, by activating a direction indicator from a plurality of direction indicators (202, 320) configured on the vehicle, for 15 indicating the upcoming direction change event. The at least one processor (308) is configured to activate one or more distance indicators from a plurality of distance indicators (204, 322) configured on the vehicle, for indicating the distance to the upcoming direction change event.
