Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The current invention pertains to a DTMADRL system and methodology for forecasting energy usage and comfort in smart buildings. The system acquires instantaneous building data utilising LDR sensors, PIR sensors, LD2410C mmWave presence detectors, Bosch BME280 temperature and humidity sensors, and INA219 electrical measurement sensors via an ESP32 processing unit. The collected data is utilised to sustain an ever-evolving Digital Twin of the actual structure and to forecast forthcoming occupancy, environmental parameters, and energy requirements. The system employs many intelligent agents, including the Lighting Agent and the HVAC Agent, to synchronise the management of lighting, fans, and air-conditioning systems. The platform incorporates occupant preference learning that leverages occupant feedback, manual overrides, and usage patterns to modify control decisions according to comfort needs. The tangible structure is utilised to enhance the Digital Twin and to improve the reinforcement learning strategies through energy and environmental input. The innovation offers an intelligent building management strategy that is predictive, coordinated, adaptive, energy-efficient, and cognisant of occupants, making it appropriate for smart offices and various building settings.
