Abstract: ABSTRACT: The present invention relates to a digital endodontic measuring instrument designed for the direct determination of distances between root canal orifices within the pulp chamber of a tooth. The instrumcnt comprises a pair of fine measuring beaks adapted to engage selected canal orifices, a displacement sensing mechanism, a processing unit, and a digital display configured to provide real-time measurements. The device enables accurate and reproducible assessment of inter- orifice distances during endodontic procedures, thereby assisting in canal localization, access cavity evaluation, anatomical documentation, and clinical decision- making. Unlike conventional methods that rely on visual estimation or manual measurement, the proposed instrument provides quantitative measurements with improved precision and consistency. The invention may be utilized in clinical practice, education, research, and documentation of root canal morphology.
