Abstract: ABSTRACT A device 100 to detect oil throw from a turbo-charger of an internal combustion engine is described. The device 100 comprises a first end cap 140, a first end 120 of which is coupled downstream of a compressor of a turbocharger, and receives compressed air from the compressor. A mesh housing 130, a first end 123 of which is coupled to an opposite second end 125 of the first end cap. A second end cap 140, a first end 150 of which is coupled to an opposite second end of the mesh housing 130, a second end 160 of which is coupled to an inlet manifold of an engine. A wire mesh 170 is secured to the mesh housing 130 and senses a temperature of air flowing from the compressor. The wire mesh 170 comprises a temperature sensor secured to a plurality of nodes of the wire mesh 170. (Figure 1).
