Abstract: The stacking device comprises a stacking platform, and a conveyor with an inlet and an outlet. The inlet is adapted to receive shingled sheets and the outlet is positioned to discharge the sheets on a stack of sheets being formed on the stack-ing platform. Along the conveyor, upstream of the outlet of the conveyor, there are arranged a first aligning member and a second aligning member, opposite to each other and adapted to cooperate with longitudinal edges of the shingled sheets which advance along the conveyor, to align them with respect to the stack being formed on the stacking platform.
