Abstract: A device for sensing the position of a brake lever [0083] The present invention relates to a device (100) for sensing brake lever position that converts mechanical displacement of brake lever (100a) into corresponding electrical signal (100b) for regenerative braking control in electric vehicles, comprising plunger (102) adapted to receive input force (100a1) from brake lever (100a) and translate into controlled displacement (102c). A resilient member (104) coupled to plunger (102) stores restoring force and returns plunger to its initial position upon release. A generator (106) operatively coupled to plunger (102) produces magnetic field (106a) varying proportionally with controlled displacement (102c), while sensor unit (108) detects magnetic field (106a) and outputs electrical signal (100b). A housing assembly (110), wiring harness (112), and electronic control system (114) ensure guided motion, protected signal transmission, and precise regenerative braking torque response based on real-time brake lever displacement.
