The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a precision-guided rubber tapping device configured to achieve controlled bark removal and standardized latex extraction. The device comprises a handle, a blade holder, an interchangeable blade tip, a depth-regulation assembly, and an angular monitoring mechanism such as a spirit level or inclinometer. Prior to operation, the device is calibrated against a previously formed tapping groove to establish an angular reference. During tapping, the depth- regulation mechanism limits blade penetration, while the angular monitoring mechanism maintains proper alignment with the reference groove. The cooperative regulation of penetration depth and angular orientation enables the formation of a consistent tapping groove with reduced variation in bark removal thickness. The device improves tapping precision, reduces the risk of cambium damage, and enhances uniform latex flow. Invention reduces dependence on highly skilled labour, enables repeatable and safer tapping operations, and improves productivity and tree health through controlled and stable tapping conditions.
