Abstract: ABSTRACT ROTARY TEXTILE FIBRE TESTING DEVICE The invention relates to a textile fibre testing device (10) for measuring textile fibre properties of fibre samples, the device comprising one or more rotary modules (1, 1A, 1B) rotating about an axis (2), plurality of fibre picking arrangements (3) disposed on each rotary module to pick the fibre samples, and one or more sets of sample preparation modules disposed around each rotary module, wherein the fibre picking arrangements (3) disposed on each rotary module sequentially interact with the one or more sets of sample preparation modules disposed around the respective rotary module as the rotary module rotates. The invention also relates to a method of testing textile fibre properties of fibre samples comprising rotating the rotary modules, engaging the plurality of fibre picking arrangements to sequentially interact with one or more sets of sample preparation modules disposed around each rotary module after picking up the fibre samples, and processing fibre samples as the rotary module rotates.
