Abstract: The present invention relates to a device (100) for indicating status of a sensor unit (30) of a machine (200). The device (100) includes a housing (20) positioned between the sensor unit (30) and a power unit (40) of the machine (200). Further, the device (100) includes a non-conductive strip (50) partially disposed within the housing (20) and slidably displaceable between a first position (51) and second position (52). The non-conductive strip (50) includes a plurality of conductive nodes (53) positioned on a portion of the non-conductive strip (50) to define a conductive pathway in the first position (51) between the sensor unit (30) and the power unit (40). Furthermore, the device (100) includes a plurality of indicators (54, 55) positioned at either ends of the non-conductive strip (50) and configured to indicate connectivity of the sensor unit (30) to the machine (200).
