A device for facilitating tooth extraction and methods of operating the same Embodiments herein disclose a device for facilitating tooth extraction, wherein the device can comprise a clamp that fits around the neck of the tooth to be extracted, and a piezo actuator configured to generate controlled oscillations/vibrations that cause the Periodontal ligament (PDL) of the tooth to sever at resonance. Embodiments herein disclose the device configured to control the frequency of the piezo actuator, so as to accommodate variation in the natural frequency of the PDL from tooth to tooth, optimizing the extraction process. Embodiments herein disclose the device comprising an integrated feedback mechanism, wherein the feedback mechanism is configured to detect the severance of the PDL rupture and notify the user on detecting the severance of the PDL rupture, thereby ensuring precise operation.
