Abstract: The present invention is related to a device for automatically shutting off an LPG supply upon leakage the device designed for automatically shutting off an LPG supply in the event of leakage, suitable for domestic and small-scale industrial environments. The device incorporates an MQ-6 gas sensor (101) to detect LPG concentration, an Arduino Nano microcontroller (102) to compare sensor output to a threshold, a servo motor (105) to rotate the regulator knob of an LPG regulator (106) to the closed position, a buzzer (103) for audio alert, and a battery (104) for power. Upon detecting leakage, the microcontroller (102) activates the buzzer (103) and drives the servo motor (105) to shut off the gas supply. The system operates on low-voltage DC power, consumes less than 1 watt, and supports adjustable detection thresholds. Optional UART connectivity enables remote notifications. The device is compact, energy-efficient, and removes the need for human intervention, offering rapid and dependable safety for LPG applications.
