MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541062516 A) filed by Ultrahuman Healthcare Private Limited on June 30, 2025, for A Device And Method For Safety-Controlled Sequential Charging Of Dual- Chemistry Battery Systems.
Inventors include Athlekar, Satyajit; Kumar, Mohit; and Singhal, Vatsal.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device (100) and a method (600) for sequential charging. The device includes a battery module including a first battery unit and a second battery unit. The device further includes one or more sensors and an operatively coupled controller. The controller determines whether one or more operating parameters satisfy predefined safety thresholds; selectively transmits one of an approval signal or rejection signal to a charging source. The approval signal is transmitted when the one or more operating parameters satisfy the one or more predefined safety thresholds. The rejection signal is transmitted when the one or more operating parameters fails to satisfy the one or more predefined safety thresholds; and controls charging of the battery module such that the second battery unit is charged prior to the first battery unit; a charging circuitry maintains the second battery unit in charged state during operation of the device.
