Abstract: ABSTRACT A genomic pathogen classification system and method for deployment on resource-constrained microcontrollers is disclosed. Reference nucleotide sequence data for a target and a control organism is processed offline to compute, for each of a fixed set of possible k-mer identities, a differential frequency-weighted score, from which a fixed-size, 8,192-byte bitmask is synthesized independent of the size of the source genomes. An embedded inference engine tests candidate k-mers extracted from an input sequence against the bitmask via a single-read bitwise operation, and on a lookup miss, applies a quorum-gated, proportional single- substitution error-tolerance method to compute a partial score contribution. Accumulated scores are normalized into a Penetrance value and compared against a runtime-adjustable threshold to yield a target-positive, target-negative, or insufficient-data outcome. The system integrates a self-hosted, internet-independent wireless reporting interface served directly from the microcontroller. Representative Figure: FIG. 1
