Abstract: A DETECTION ASSEMBLY FOR ENSURING TERMINATION OF CABLE IN ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES The present invention relates to a detection assembly (100) for ensuring termination of cable (101) in electrical appliances. The detection assembly (100) comprises a lug member (104), a screw member (102), and a non- linear spring plate (106) comprising a central surface (114), a first distal arm (110), and a second distal arm (112). The central surface (114) is configured to reversibly deform as the bottom portion of the screw-head (103) interacts and thereupon pressed onto said the central surface (114). The first distal arm (110) is stuck with the housing (120) of the electrical apparatus. The second distal arm (112) is provided with a free folded arm (118) configured to be reversibly deflected. The reversible deflection is proportional to the torque applied on the screw member (102) as well as the reversible deformation of said central surface (114). Reference: [Figure 2A]
