Abstract: The present invention discloses a dental implant (108). The dental implant comprises a plurality of arcuate portions (102-1, 102-2, 102-3, 102-n) and an abutment screw (201). The plurality of arcuate portions (102-1, 102-2, 102-3, 102- n) are arranged in an open and closed position. Each arcuate portion has a first and second end, aligning in continuous manner in the closed position to form a cylindrical shape with a centrally located bore (104). An outer thread (106) is positioned on the external surface of the plurality of arcuate portions (102-1, 102- 2, 102-3, 102-n). During operation, the abutment screw (201) is inserted into the bore (104), flared out the plurality of arcuate portions (102-1, 102-2, 102-3, 102-n) to form anchorage. The plurality of arcuate portions (102-1, 102-2, 102-3, 102-n) comprises the internal thread (502), and the abutment screw (201) features a head (202) with a polygonal socket and a base (203) with the outer thread (106).
