Abstract: Disclosed a defogger unit for heating an automotive glazing. Said automotive glazing comprises the defogger unit further comprises a heating unit configured to heat the glazing using electric power. Said heating unit comprises of a heating layer further comprising cellulose with silver nanowire coating. Said heating unit configured to include an Optically clear adhesive (OCA) bonding layer adaptively mixed with a conductive nanowire to achieve an electrical and thermal continuity across the heating layer thickness and to endure stresses from vehicle motion and weather conditions. Said defogger unit is disposed first and second substrates of glass and the heating unit is adapted to be transparent to the optical spectrum covering the InfraRed for LiDAR and visible light wavelengths for camera.
