Abstract: A system (100) and method (200) for dehumidifying battery (110) of vehicle is disclosed. The system comprises a blower (120) positioned proximal to the battery and fluidly connected to a blower tube (102). There is a vent tube (104) fluidly connected to the battery, and being configured to carry exhaust air from the battery. Further, there is a venturi tube (106) comprising end portions (106a and 106b) and a mid-portion (106c) defined with a narrow cross-section. One of the end portions is connected to the blower tube via a flap (108) and the mid-portion is connected to the vent tube. The system includes a control unit (130) operatively coupled to the blower and the flap. The control unit is configured to operate the blower and the flap selectively to blow air towards at least one of the battery and the venturi tube based on temperature (T) of the battery.
