MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611103462 A) filed by Suresh Gyan Vihar University on August 27, 2026, for A Cryogenic Vaccine Transport Device With Active Thermal Buffering Protection.

Inventors include Dr. Sarmad Moin; and Dr. Ritu Gilhotra.

The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: A cryogenic vaccine transport device (100) is disclosed comprising an insulated enclosure (120), vaccine chamber (150), thermal buffer assembly (140), active thermal conditioning assembly (160), temperature sensors (170), electronic controller (180), and rechargeable power supply (190). The thermal buffer assembly (140) incorporates phase-change material (142) for absorbing or releasing latent thermal energy, while the active thermal conditioning assembly (160) selectively heats or cools according to sensor feedback. The controller (180) regulates temperature, manages energy consumption, records thermal conditions, and provides alarms for temperature excursions and system faults.
