Abstract: A cover assembly (300) for an internal combustion (IC) engine (100) is disclosed. The cover assembly (300) comprises a first cover (302) configured with a crankcase (202) to cover an electrical unit (304) of the IC engine (100), the electrical unit (304) comprises a position mark (310) on a side surface (308). The first cover (302) comprises a first hole (312) to allow access to a shaft member (306) coupled to a crank shaft of the IC engine (100), and a second hole (314) configured adjacent to the first hole (312). The second hole (314) is configured to allow visibility of the side surface (308) of the electrical unit (304) for inspection of the position mark (310) on the electrical unit (304).
