Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: “A COUPLING UNIT FOR CONNECTING A PRESSURE PLATE AND A NON-PRESSURE PLATE OF 5 A BRAKE ACTUATOR” A coupling unit for connecting a pressure plate and a non-pressure plate of a brake actuator is provided. The coupling unit includes a retainer ring having free ends. The retainer ring is 10 disposed around an adjoining region of a flange of the pressure plate, a flange of the nonpressure plate and a diaphragm separating the pressure plate and the non-pressure plate. Further, the coupling unit includes a retainer lock positioned on the free ends of the retainer ring and configured to fixedly lock the free ends of the retainer ring. The coupling unit of this configuration provides a secure connection between the pressure plate and the non-pressure 15 plate, both axially and radially. Fig. 3 and Fig. 9 are representative figures
