Abstract: A COOLING PLATE FOR A BATTERY COOLING SYSTEM (BCS) OF A VEHICLE Present disclosure discloses a cooling plate (10). The cooling plate includes a base (2) defined with a first coolant flow channel (12) and a second coolant flow channel (18). The cooling plate includes a first valve (24) connected to first end (14) of first coolant flow channel and one end (16) of second coolant flow channel. Furthermore, the cooling plate (10) includes a second valve (26) connected to second end (20) of first coolant flow channel and another end (22) of second coolant flow channel. The first valve and the second valve are structured to selectively discharge coolant from one of (i) at least one of the first end of the first coolant flow channel and the one end of the second coolant flow channel, and (ii) at least one of the second end (20) of the first coolant flow channel and the another end the second coolant flow channel.
