Abstract: Abstract A control unit to classify at least one new requirement text using adaptive finetuning of a language model and a method thereof. The control unit 10 receives unlabeled requirement documents 12a and labeled requirement documents 12b from multiple data sources 13 for training the language model 14 and preprocesses the received requirement documents (12a & 12b) using a text corpus technique. The control unit 10 adaptively fine-tunes the pre-trained language model 14 using the preprocessed unlabeled requirement documents 12a via an unsupervised learning technique and performs the supervised fine-tuning on the adaptive fine-tuned language model 14 using the pre-processed labeled requirement documents 12b. The control unit 10 classifies atleast one text of the new requirement document 16 using the supervised fine-tuned language model 14 by creating a token for the atleast one text and generating contextual embeddings with respect to the created tokens.
